A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: - Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - 40 guaranteed hours per week - 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule period - Patient ratio of 1:2 - Minimum 1 year of experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry - Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - PACU and critical care experience required - Epic charting system experience required - Will work primarily rotating between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit - Must be proficient in managing complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia - Manage patients recovering from GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT surgeries - Float within service line as needed - Navy scrubs required - Level I Trauma Center experience required - RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days per contract - Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility Facility: This healthcare facility is a 1,266-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center.
