The hospital features an 8-bed gastroenterology department and provides comprehensive care with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive professional environment.Opportunity:Physician - Internal Medicine - GastroenterologyJob Details:• Part-time, long-term locum coverage working 2 weeks per month• Primarily inpatient coverage with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) with night call after shift• Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call• May work 1 day a week in outpatient clinic (returning to hospital to complete 12-hour shift after clinic)• Overtime applies after 12 hours per day (not 40 hours per week)• Board certification required• Washington state license or IMLC required• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days• Required procedures: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices• Esophageal dilatation required• Small bowel biopsy required• Lower GI endoscopy required• Flexible sigmoidoscopy required• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required• Fellowship trained• Level 3 trauma facilityCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
