Discover the full scale of Gildan and prepare to be surprised at gildancorp.com.The opportunitySupport the seasonal development process for Hanes Activewear, Scrubs, Comfywear, Printwear from ideation to production.Scope:Develop new products on timeCosting; share proto costing to the BU, work with sourcing to run cost estimates/quick costsReview testing reports for claims against company standardsEnsure accurate product specificationsThe roleAct as a liaison between Sourcing, Business Units, and cross‑functional teams.Support PD/TD timelines, calendar optimization, and workflow alignment with E2E teams.Manage Workfront tasks and lead weekly reviews to address delays or risks.Attend fittings to provide costing insights and support technical development needs.Manage claims documentation, tracking, and validation across BOMs, specs, and reports.Update BOMs, support color‑ups, and create tech packs for development and production.Assist Design with fabric/material sourcing and provide informed recommendations.Support cost‑savings initiatives and re‑sourcing/internalization projects.Coordinate wear trials and communicate actionable feedback.Work closely with Senior PD/TD and cross functional partners in PM, Design, Sourcing, Planning, and Quality to resolve development and production issues.The requirementsEducation RequiredUndergraduate or Graduate in Textile, Design/ Product Development or Marketing and Brand Management.Experience RequiredBachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degreeDPC/3D Experience: BrowzwearPLM Experience: Flex PLM, CentricKey CompetenciesCustomer focusAccountability and ownershipCollaboration and teamworkCritical thinking and problem solvingResults orientationContinuous improvement mindsetWhat’s in it for you?Join a publicly traded company dual-listed on NYSE and TSX with great potentialBe part of a workplace where meaningful connections and teamwork are celebratedFrom local to international, be ready to work alongside a diverse group of colleaguesBenefit from mentorship and continuous development opportunitiesTake advantage of our attractive benefits packagesWe want to get to know you better!
