Lead Java Developer Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Tech Lead to drive the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications. You will lead a team of engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure best practices across backend and/or fullstack development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design and development of Java-based applications
- Architect scalable backend systems using microservices architecture
- Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring code quality and best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders
- Drive CI/CD, performance optimization, and system reliability
- Contribute to frontend development (if fullstack) using modern frameworks
- Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding standards
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
- Hands-on with databases (SQL/NoSQL like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of system design and architecture
- Good to Have
- Frontend experience with React / Angular / Vue.js (for fullstack roles)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
- Soft SkillsStrong leadership and team management skills

- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
