Aerospace-Senior Supplier Quality Engineer(PCBA)
Under general supervision and reporting to Operations Leadership, the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer serves as a vital link between TRIGO ADR and our Prime Aerospace or Defense customers. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer is a "hands on" role that will identify, drive, and manage projects to improve Delivery, Quality and cost performance within the Supply Chain. The Supplier Quality activities are focused on product and process performance for all production including New Programs, Current Production and Legacy, providing the link between Group Quality, Procurement and Supplier interacting with all relevant functions as required. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will ensure the day-to-day project execution & coordination at the Supplier. The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the development of our supplier base. Will utilize expertise in Quality, Purchasing, and Operations and will be deployed to our suppliers to ensure continuous improvement of their operations as well as containment of situations.MUST BE A US CITIZEN- BILINGUAL PREFERRED-TRAVEL INTO MX REQUIREDPCBA EXPEREINCE REQUIREDJob Responsibilities:• Leadership and Management: Guide and lead a production team in the assembly and testing of electronic and/or mechanical productsPerformance Accountability: Take full ownership of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance for a multi-cell/multi-shift operation• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma and Lean methodologiesCross-Functional Collaboration: Interact daily with other functions such as technical support, engineering, facilities, production control, and finance to meet organizational goals Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans, including creating current and future state value stream mapsCustomer and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and program deliverablesLead MRB activities to achieve optimal disposition of non-conforming material and ensure that adequate corrective actions are implemented.Perform on-site supplier visits/audits, assess suppliers manufacturing and quality processes; develop root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issuesDevelop and maintain detailed and accurate reporting of supplier performance and quality improvement progress.
