Role Description The intern will assist with the day-to-day tasks of supporting research projects by providing expertise in the areas of molecular engineering and bioinformatics. They will also be involved in collaborative efforts with patients, doctors, and scientists, contributing to innovative projects. This hybrid role is located in Chicago, IL, with some work from home acceptable. Qualifications Basic understanding of computational biology and bioinformaticsExperience with protein modeling and tools like RFdiffusionExperience with small molecule development Skills in data management and handling large datasetsProficiency in using GPU-driven AI tools and resourcesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and in a collaborative environmentPassion for rare disease research and a commitment to making a positive impactCurrently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate
