Job Title - Integration Solution ArchitectJob Highlights: Integration Solution Architect (Confluent Kafka & Apache Flink)Location: New York City, NY / New JerseyPosition Type: Remote (Candidate will be required to travel occasionally to the customer's headquarters in New York for workshops and review meetings.)Duration: 9 MonthsJob Summary: We are looking for a strong resource with hands-on experience in Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink, along with expertise in the following areas:Integration Solution ArchitectArchitect end-to-end CDC → Enterprise Bus → Middleware → APIM integration patterns.Design Kafka/Confluent-based event-driven architectures leveraging SMT, KSQLDB, and Flink.Define API contracts and APIM POST methods for product data ingestion.Confluent API Engineer (Flink)Develop and manage Kafka producer/consumer configurations and topic administration.Implement CDC connectors (Debezium/SAP) for ERP source systems.Support schema design and Databricks Bronze layer ingestion pipelines.Data Engineer (Kafka)Implement SMT and KSQLDB-based transformation rules on Kafka topics.Support mapping framework enhancements for AP/AR/OA object schema changes.Assist in Flink/Kafka Streams job development for in-flight data enrichment and processing.Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink is required.
