Cleaning Team Member - Part-Time

Job Description Description:Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Team Member to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout our food production facility. This position is responsible for performing routing cleaning tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring all areas meet company and regulatory cleanliness standards.Pay & ScheduleStarting Pay: $15.00 per hourIncrease to $16.00 per hour after 120 daysShift: 1st ShiftHours: Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PMSchedule: Monday through FridayNo weekends or holidays!Duties and Responsibilities· Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors· Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces· Clean and restock restrooms· Remove waste and empty trash receptacles· Maintain cleaning logs indicating areas cleaned and inspected· Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies· Organize janitorial storage areas· Report unsafe conditions and maintenance needs to supervisors· Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely· Perform all other cleaning duties as assigned by managementRequirements:RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to understand, speak, read, and write in EnglishAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional and dependable work habitsAbility to manage time efficiently and meet schedulesAbility to observe safety and security procedures and comply with company policiesAbility to operate power equipment commonly used in janitorial workPhysical DemandsAbility to lift 50 pounds or more on a repetitive basisAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shiftFrequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twistingAbility to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentThis position is based in a food manufacturing facility and requires adherence to all food safety and plant safety policies and procedures.
