General Production Worker

Job Description Job Title: Production TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic and fast-paced team environment dedicated to the general production and assembly of products. This role involves using small hand tools and light power tools to create sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products. You will also be responsible for the out-box packaging process and operating production equipment such as flat wash and presses. Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are essential in this high-pressure setting.ResponsibilitiesConstruct sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products using hand tools and power tools.Perform the out-box packaging process efficiently.Operate production equipment including flat wash and presses.Ensure the quality of products by adhering to safety and quality protocols.Essential SkillsAbility to learn and work at a fast pace.Experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.Capability to work long hours on feet.Proficiency in reading and comprehending standard work instructions.Effective communication skills in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least one year of recent experience in a fast-paced environment (within the last 18 months).Minimum of one year experience using hand or power tools.Work Environment & ScheduleThis role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility with a strong focus on safety and quality. Steel-toe footwear is required.Available Shifts:1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday–Thursday)2nd Shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am (Monday–Thursday)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
