Division Accounting Manager

A real estate development firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as the Division Accounting Manager,ResponsibilitiesManage accurate production of project-level financial reports, reviewed, and completed, including reconciliations and analysisManage to establish deadlines and time cycles for all processes within scope of responsibilities Oversee journal entries and general ledger maintenance, controls, and processes Oversee maintenance of project cash accounts and cash position, address cash bank reconciliation issues Oversee bank loan funding process with regards to Project Accountant responsibilities and requirements as determined Oversee semi-monthly construction cost recovery transactions for projects with homebuilding construction Resolve accounting discrepancies, inconsistencies, and irregularities in a timely manner Contribute to accounting infrastructure in Newstar and LandDev accounting systems Effectively communicate as primary liaison between operating division(s) and Accounting Dept. to provide guidance and support Perform other duties as neededQualificationsBachelors Degree in accounting or related fieldHigh GPA4+ years of experienceManagement experience
