Financial Director

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Provide leadership and supervision for fiscal administrators within Academic and Student Support Central Services.• Offer financial oversight of budgets and transactions, guiding division/department leaders in financial planning.• Ensure fiscal accountability in compliance with state and federal statutes and guidelines.• Conduct complex financial analysis and prepare critical reports for management.• Oversee financial aspects of textbook funding and assist with long-range distribution planning.• Act as the primary contact for state and federal agencies regarding financial audits.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including demonstrable administrative/leadership experience.• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, governmental accounting, and federal/state/local finance requirements.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems (like Oracle), and Google Apps.• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in contract and purchasing management.What's On Offer• Competitive salary.• A hybrid work environment offering flexibility.• Opportunity to influence financial strategy within a large public school system.• A collaborative finance team environment.Apply via Haystack today!
