Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repair to ensure the facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards. - Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, and appliances, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical skills. - Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems. - Use various tools and equipment, including an Ohmmeter and welding equipment, to fabricate and repair parts as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. - Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to service requests and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Supervise junior maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and training to ensure they can perform their tasks effectively. - Document all work performed, including maintenance records and repair histories. Skills - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and experience with electrical maintenance tasks. - Ability to supervise junior maintenance staff and provide guidance and training. - Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for all customers. - Proficiency in facilities maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC repair. - Experience with fabricating and welding. - Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage. - Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery. - Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
