Entry Level Structural Engineer

Entry Level Structural Engineer Schultz Burman Engineering is currently seeking to fill Entry Level Structural Engineer positions located in Houston, Texas. As a Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include the following: Performing the structural design of various concrete, steel and wood framed structures Producing and coordinating construction documents in AutoCAD Maintaining client contacts and correspondence during job production Providing construction administration services which will include reviewing shop drawings, providing additionally requested construction details and performing field inspections and structural observations The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities: Civil Engineering Degree (ABET) with a course emphasis in Structural Engineering Effectively prioritize tasks and balance multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of structural calculations for analysis of steel, concrete and wood framed structures Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD and design software such as Risa 3D, Enercalc, ETABS Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Self-driven with a track record of high achievement and strong organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment Desire to continually develop professionally and add value to a growing company Detail oriented and committed to producing quality work Benefits include Competitive salary Medical and dental insurance Three weeks paid time off and ten paid holidays Company 401K plan with employer contribution Year-end bonus Relaxed office environment We encourage continuing education and professional licensure, and support employees’ pursuits of these About Schultz Burman Engineering Schultz Burman Engineering, PLLC is a professional structural engineering consulting firm that offers a full spectrum of in-house design and construction administration services. These positions require a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
