This role plays a critical part in building reliable, mission-ready ambulances by following detailed schematics, work instructions, and quality standards. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble electrical components including wiring harnesses, lighting, switches, control panels, sirens, and power distribution systemsRead and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and work instructionsRoute, loom, secure, and label wiring according to company standards and industry best practicesPerform terminations, crimping, soldering, and connector installationTest electrical systems for functionality, troubleshoot issues, and correct defectsFollow SOPs, quality checks, and documentation requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCollaborate with team members, team leads, and other departments to meet production schedulesSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and efficiencyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1+ year of electrical assembly experience (manufacturing, automotive, RV, marine, or similar industries preferred)Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagramsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipmentStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to stand, bend, reach, and work in confined spaces within vehiclesPreferred ExperienceExperience in ambulance, emergency vehicle, automotive, or specialty vehicle manufacturingKnowledge of 12V/24V DC systemsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or structured production environmentsIPC/WHMA or similar electrical certification (a plus, not required)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsProlonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbingAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE)Contingencies of EmploymentSuccessful completion of a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical examinationSuccessful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to the positionEqual Opportunity EmployerLife Line is an equal opportunity employer.
