NAVA Software is looking for a Dayforce AdminDetails:Dayforce AdminLocation: Houston TX - Hybrid - 3 days/weekDuration: 12 monthsResearch latest industry practices and technology trends related to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting to assist IT Manager with providing advice to clients and members of the IT organizationAssist in conceptualization and development of solutions (hardware, software, processes) that support business requirementsCollaborate with the appropriate parties, such as vendors, business users, or members of IT, in order to resolve problems or investigate opportunities as neededParticipate in special projects and/or initiatives as needed, which could be project management for small to medium initiativesApply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that project deliverables meet required specificationsCreate process models, specifications, diagrams and/or charts based upon user requirements to provide direction to other team membersEnsure all required system and compliance documentation is complete and accurateEscalate support and project issues to IT management as they ariseProvide data and input for generation of statistics and reports for management and/or team members to represent current status of initiativesGather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects and system requirementsGenerate and compile reports based on analytical findings, complete with probable cause and possible solutions to system issuesElicit, analyze, specify and validate the business needs of project stakeholders, including interviewing stakeholders and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Develop and utilize standard templates to document / review business requirements and technical specificationsWork with IT Manager, as directed, to foster vendor relationship and participate in management of any contractual relationship terms, such as support pool hours and scope designationParticipate in on-call support rotation, as required for functional applications supportedParticipate in the development or review of application training materials required to provide the user community with a solid understanding of the functionality available to meet the business requirements and conduct training sessions, as requiredAssist in building an application support knowledgebase by documenting issues reported by users and the associated resolution process as requested by senior team membersRecord, track, and document the problem-solving process utilized while researching alternatives to resolve issues reported by usersPerform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolvedParticipate in the development and execution of business continuity processes as requested by senior team members For assigned projects:Lead the definition, development and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and standardsServe in role of Project Manager and utilize Boardwalk IT project management standards and templatesParticipate in the design and development of test plans/cases to ensure that the system or application functions as specifiedCollaborate with business users and other team members to prioritize outstanding issues, enhancement requests and projects on routine basisAssist with oversight for project management efforts Required skills:3 - 5 years' experience supporting Dayforce HR, Benefits, Payroll, Performance, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting modules5 - 7 years' experience in systems development and/or IT project managementProven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or productsProject management skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExtensive experience with business requirements gathering and documentationProven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and software issue resolution techniquesSolid working knowledge of current HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting technologiesAbility to conduct, compile, and present research in the following areas: software development and delivery concepts, application testing strategies, project management methodology trendsExperience with configuration, enhancements, upgrades, testing and post-production support to trouble-shoot issues in Dayforce with some technical expertise as well as functional experienceInitiative in proposing enhancements and solutionsBroad knowledge of programming languages and techniquesKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and lawsDemonstrated ability in developing application specification and requirements documentationInitiative and follow through for enhancements.Strong knowledge of ITSM and work management practices and tool (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, TestRail)Preferred skills:Familiarity with the Energy industry and/or experience working in the pipeline oil and gas industryExperience utilizing Oracle EBS R12.2Experience utilizing Oracle EPM
