The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing enterprise-grade Power BI solutions, building scalable semantic models, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.Build and optimize semantic data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query (M) transformations.Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.Connect and integrate data from multiple data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.Optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, and query execution.Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and Power BI best practices.Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop scalable and efficient data models.Troubleshoot reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational governance standards.Required Skills8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Warehousing.Strong expertise in:Power BI DesktopPower BI ServiceDAXPower Query (M)Data ModelingAdvanced SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schema, and data warehousing concepts.Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI deployment best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.Preferred SkillsExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or Snowflake.Knowledge of CI/CD and version control for Power BI deployments.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certificationWhy join Sonata Software?At Sonata, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
