As the deputy to the Readiness Systems Architect, you would be helping lead the architectural design and management of readiness domain solutions on some of the largest and most advanced systems in the world. Our product is a software intensive system that performs fault detection and isolation tests on a variety of legacy and modern hardware, performs computer program reloads, manages data and configuration files, and performs other maintenance type tasks on Aegis platforms and on future platforms as our portfolio expands.Knowledge of systems and/or software engineering architectures desired. Knowledge of Linux operating system is desired.In this role, you will Work with the lead systems architect to design and implement new capabilities for and manage existing architecture of readiness domain solutions for our Aegis customers and beyond Act as a member of the readiness core team to control the readiness product processes and tools, focusing on continuous improvements and workflow management Engage in discussions with both internal and external stakeholders to derive system requirements, estimate work scope, and coordinate work planning Manage a large set of living specifications Work with integration and test teams to define/review test procedures, coordinate testing, review test results, and track reported issues and fixes Actively participate in engineering reviews at all levels Coordinate interface changes Work with the software teams on both high and low level software changes Develop and manage system architecture models (SysML) Respond to shifting priorities as issues arise Opportunities to travel if desiredWho We AreLockheed Martin is a global aerospace, defense, and security company dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and harnessing innovation to make the world a safer place.
