Our success rests squarely on three bedrock principles: People, our center of gravity; Mission, what inspires us; and an unyielding commitment to Excellence, what separates us.Job Description:We are seeking an Operations Research & Systems Analyst (ORSA) to work in support of multiple DIA initiatives, including the Machine-Assisted Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Object Management Services (OMS), and Object-Based Intelligence (OBI).Work locations vary throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), with Reston, VA and Washington, DC being primary locations.Responsibilities include:Collaborate with intelligence analysts, policymakers, and operational teams to understand complex intelligence problems, resource allocation dilemmas, and operational inefficienciesTranslate ambiguous intelligence requirements into well-defined, quantifiable problems suitable for operations research and systems analysisDevelop conceptual and mathematical models to represent intelligence systems, workflows, and decision processesIdentify, acquire, and integrate diverse intelligence data sources (e.g., SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, OSINT, cyber threat data)Apply advanced statistical methods, data mining, machine learning, and pattern recognition techniques to extract actionable insights, identify emerging threats, and predict adversary behavior or system vulnerabilitiesDesign, develop, and implement sophisticated operations research models, including: Optimization Models, Forecasting Models, Simulation Models, and Network AnalysisConduct sensitivity analyses, "what-if" scenarios, and risk assessments using modelsProvide quantitative evaluations of alternative intelligence strategies, operational plans, or technology investmentsDevelop and deploy decision support tools and analytical dashboards that empower intelligence professionals and decision-makers with data-driven insightsClearly and concisely present complex analytical findings, model outputs, and actionable intelligence recommendations to senior intelligence officials, military commanders, and policy makersTailor communications to both technical and non-technical audiences, emphasizing strategic implications and operational impactEvaluate the performance of existing intelligence systems and processesRecommend and support the implementation of improvements, new technologies, or methodological enhancements to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of intelligence productsStay current with the latest advancements in operations research, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligence analysis methodologiesResearch, prototype, and integrate novel analytical techniques and tools to address evolving intelligence challenges and enhance capabilitiesAdditional duties as assigned or requiredHere's what you need:Master's degree in a related area and at least 12 years of related experience/responsibilities (with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years) OR a Bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 17 years of related experience/responsibilities.Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the activities required to meet mission requirements.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.Security Clearance:Active TS/SCIEducation:Master's degree or Bachelor's degreeWork Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8 hours each dayBenefits:Cydecor offers a comprehensive compensation package including Health and Dental Insurance, Vision and Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, 401(K) + company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Company Holidays, Tuition and Professional Development Assistance and more.What We BelieveWe have an unwavering commitment to diversity with the aim that every one of our people has a full sense of belonging within our organization.
