This position also oversees the seasonal food and beverage operations for Horse to Water Pool Bar. Responsible for managing the daily operations of multiple dining outlets, ensuring guests are promptly and courteously served in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Flexibility to learn new operations and work in different environments.Essential FunctionsOversees and supervises daily operations of one or more outlets, focused on Emma's Patisserie, Stirrups, and Horse to Water Pool Bar.Flexibility in day-to-day operations with involvement in special functions as needed.Assists Restaurant Managers with shift coverage.Competency in budgeted and departmental targets, including sales, covers, and departmental profits.Assists in the hiring process of new supervisors/shift leads and team members.Prioritizes, assigns, and trains F&B staff.Assists with managing uniform inventory and collection.Assists with the control and monitoring of payroll costs, ensuring alignment with forecasted and actual business levels using payroll management systems.Controls departmental operating costs to be in line with forecasted business levels.Controls and executes monthly beverage inventory.Maximizes opportunities for departmental sales, profit, and other related targets.Ensures effective stock rotation and maintains stock levels, including storage and use of equipment.Enforces standard operating procedures for food and beverage controls.Assists with maintaining and improving departmental operating standards.Leads and motivates departmental teams to promote good morale and ensure an elevated level of commitment and pride.Executes planned training and development practices systematically and professionally to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual team members' personal development.Awareness of and compliance with hotel and company rules and regulations as identified in the team member handbook.Participates with F&B leadership team to coordinate, plan, develop, and implement long and short-term goals.Monitors the integrity of F&B operation and the service standards established.Delegates, oversees, and follows up on bartenders, servers, server assistants, and food runners' duties.Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.Maintains a professional F&B image, including proper uniforms and appearance standards.Ensures a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.Completes accident reports promptly and correctly if/when a guest or team member experiences an injury of any kind.Provides directions to team members regarding operational procedures.Has complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the departments.Familiarizes with resort services, amenities, and outlets.Is available for work assignments outside of associate's customary work schedule (may include evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays).Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.Complies with all resort policies and procedures, as described and communicated by management.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the associate occupying this position.
