Sr Field Service Engineer Location Virginia Beach ID 2026-11059 Category Field Service Engineer Position Type Regular Full-Time Application Open Date 3/24/2026 Description The Engineering Technician will work with STEI and shipboard stakeholders to conduct installations, System Operational Verification Testing (SOVT), provide onsite and remote onboard technical troubleshooting support to designated shipboard platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Installing and configuring shipboard Carry On Equipment (COE) systems Troubleshooting of COE hardware and software systems quickly and efficiently #LI-LH1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD Requirements High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate 15 years of full-time professional experience working as an Engineering Technician in providing technical support related to the design, development, production, or testing of shipboard systems 10 years full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment, desired full-time experience precludes concurrent experience on more than one system/equipment unless they are all equivalent in complexity and maintenance philosophy Desired Skills N/A Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.
