Office Manager

AppleOne is assisting a client looking for a highly organized, high-energy Office Manager to support a growing, tight-knit team of ~23 employees. This individual will take full ownership of day-to-day office operations - proactively managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage all office operations and administrative functions Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and travel arrangements for internal team members Serve as the front office presence (light reception duties, occasional visitors) Lead new employee onboarding logistics Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning office environment Provide administrative support including: Updating company website content Drafting and editing press releases Supporting internal communications Coordinate tradeshows and events, including: Researching opportunities and costs Booking booths Coordinating attendee logistics and travel Oversee and support bookkeeping functions (~20%), including: Working in QuickBooks Assisting a part-time accounting manager Supporting invoicing, tracking, and general financial organization Take initiative in driving team accountability (e.g., ensuring schedules are followed, leading office-wide organization efforts) What We’re Looking ForA proactive, high-energy self-starter who takes ownership and executes without constant direction Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep others on track Detail-oriented with strong calendar and scheduling management skills Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves Ability to operate with discretion and professionalism in a confidential environment Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in office management, administrative operations, or similar role Experience with QuickBooks (hands-on, not just exposure) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience coordinating logistics such as travel, events, or office operations Nice to HaveExperience updating or maintaining website content Exposure to marketing support functions (e.g., press releases, events, tradeshows) Prior experience in a small to mid-sized company environment
