Come join our team!Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine and emergency electrical maintenance on all production equipment and systems (e.g., packaging machines, conveyors, HVAC systems, and control panels)Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in machinery and equipment, including motors, drives, sensors, relays, and PLCsEnsure electrical systems are operating within specified voltage, current, and safety parametersPreventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to reduce downtime and increase equipment lifespanMaintain an up-to-date record of maintenance activities, work orders, and repairsSystem Upgrades & Modifications: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing equipmentWork with the engineering team to improve and modify electrical systems to optimize performanceSafety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry safety standards, electrical codes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulationsFollow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols when performing maintenance tasksParticipate in safety training and contribute to a safety-first environmentCollaboration & Support: Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve electrical issues that may impact production schedulesProvide technical support and training to other maintenance staff or production employees, as neededAssist in the diagnosis and resolution of mechanical and pneumatic issues where electrical systems may be involvedDocumentation & Reporting: Complete and maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and equipment specificationsMonitor inventory levels of electrical parts and supplies and communicate needs to the Maintenance SupervisorQualificationsEducation : High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related fieldExperience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical packaging experience a plus)Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical circuits, controls, and PLC systemsSkills & Knowledge : Strong understanding of electrical theory, controls, and industrial automation systemsFamiliarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalent)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manualsKnowledge of industry safety standards, including OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout proceduresExperience with preventive maintenance programs and techniquesCertifications : Electrical (Journeyman Electrician)Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations for the pharmaceutical industry is preferredGeneral Employment RequirementsBackground Check requiredDrug Testing requiredLiveo Research is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.Compensation details: 40-55 Hourly WagePIb29a4d140154-26289-40362192
