Industrial Maintenance ElectricianChesapeake Spice Co MD - Belcamp, MD 21017OverviewSalary Range $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Education Level High School/GED Travel Percentage None Category MaintenanceIndustrial Maintenance ElectricianJob Summary:Use electrical, mechanical and trouble-shooting skills to support all aspects of manufacturing and maintenance in order to maintain the facility as well as repair plant machineryResponsibilities:Troubleshoot production equipment to include blenders, scaling systems, sifters, hammer and roller mills and vertical form filling machines.Maintain and repair electrical systems consisting of 120v, 220v, 480v.Perform breakdown analysis.Performs, interprets and works from blueprints, drawings or samples.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED requiredMaster Electrician License requiredMinimum 3 years' experience troubleshooting electrical systems and reading schematicsHVAC experience preferredMust be able to weld in a professional mannerPlumbing experience with PVC, copper and metal pipesForklift experienceScissor Lift experiencePush, pull, lift and/or carry heavy products such as equipment, bags and/or drums weighing up to 100lbs frequentlyWalk long distancesAbility to climb on and off a forklift occasionallyAbility to work in confined spacesAble to extend arms with hands over the head or at shoulder heightHold, grasp, or turn with the use of handsTouch, pickup, and pinch with the use of fingersKneel, stoop, or bend downwards and forwardAscend or descend ladders and platformsStand, work, and walk at heights on platforms at least six feet or higherExpress or exchange ideas by means of spoken words.
