In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll, compensation, and expense accounting while partnering closely with teams across the company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in precision, and wants to make a meaningful impact as the business scales.ResponsibilitiesPayroll & CompensationOwn end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple entities and regionsEnsure payroll is accurately recorded through journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesPartner with HR and external payroll providers to keep employee data accurate and resolve any discrepanciesPrepare and review payroll-related tax filings and compliance requirementsSupport equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including grant tracking, expense calculations, and disclosuresGeneral Accounting & ExpensesProcess high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in TipaltiReview invoices for proper approval, coding, and supporting documentationCode invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, cost centers, and departmentsResolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiriesProcess Improvement & CollaborationLook for opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controlsCollaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, and other business partners on compensation-related reportingSupport annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requestsAssist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as the business continues to growEducation & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth, technology, SaaS, or adtech environmentStrong understanding of GAAP, particularly related to payroll, compensation, expense, and equity accountingExperience working with multi-state and/or international payrollFamiliarity with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718Experience using equity management platforms such as Carta or ShareworksExperience with accounting software (Sage IntAcct, NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred)Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLookups, financial modeling)Exposure to sales compensation structures and commission accounting is a plusCPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not requiredHighly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlinesClear, collaborative communicator who enjoys working cross-functionallyUS Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift's total compensation package for employees.
