OverviewExecutive Assistant, School of Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center provides central administrative support to the Dean's senior leadership team and serves as the primary liaison for the Office of the Dean. The EA supports the Dean's senior leaders, manages reception responsibilities, and helps ensure the smooth operation of the School of Medicine's Office of the Dean.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level administrative support to the Office of the Dean and directly support the Dean's senior leadership team, including welcoming and directing visitorsCoordinate and staff meetings and events for assigned senior leadersManage calendars, business expenses, travel, presentations, notetaking, research, and other administrative needs for assigned senior leadersProvide administrative and project support to working groups, leadership searches, and SOM-wide initiativesKeep senior leaders informed of schedule changes, requests, and emerging issues; anticipate needs, prioritize issues, and prepare briefing materialsWork InteractionsReports to the Vice Dean & Chief of Operations within the Office of the Dean. Serves as a liaison between the Office of the Dean and faculty, staff, students, medical alumni, families, and other School of Medicine community members. Requires broad knowledge of University policies and operations and involves confidential duties requiring discretion, good judgment, tact, and poise.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 5 years of experience providing executive support to senior-level leadershipExperience managing calendars and scheduling with competing demandsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency with MS Office and basic Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets)Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and requestsProactive problem-solving with strong decision-making skillsEffective project and deadline managementExceptional judgment, customer service, organization, and attention to detailExperience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneouslyExperience with Zoom, Georgetown Management System, and Concur travelKnowledge of Georgetown travel and business policiesExperience in a medical school or academic health system preferredWork Mode DesignationOn-Campus.
