This role is ideal for someone with a strong background managing complex MEP scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects and who thrives in a fast-paced, highly coordinated environment.This individual will play a key role in driving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and trade coordination are aligned throughout the life of the project.What You’ll Be DoingManage and oversee all MEP scopes from preconstruction through project closeout Coordinate with ownership, design teams, subcontractors, and field teams to drive execution Lead MEP planning, procurement, scheduling, and sequencing efforts Manage multiple trade partners across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls scopes Review drawings, identify conflicts, and drive solutions with project teams and trade partners Track budgets, change orders, buyout, forecasting, and cost controls for MEP scopes Support commissioning, startup, and turnover processes Ensure quality, safety, and project standards are maintained throughout execution What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on commercial construction projects Experience working for a general contractor or managing mechanical/electrical construction projects with strong cross-trade coordination exposure Proven experience managing MEP packages valued at $20M+ Experience managing multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, etc.) Strong understanding of MEP systems, sequencing, and coordination Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and trade relationships Experience with large-scale commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, mixed-use, or institutional projects preferred Why This OpportunityStrong project pipeline with complex, high-profile work Established leadership team and strong company culture Competitive compensation package Long-term growth potential within a stable organization If you have experience managing complex MEP scopes and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a top-tier builder in the DC market, apply today.
