Project Management: Oversee and document daily on-site activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Team Leadership: Direct and manage field personnel according to project plans, providing guidance and constructive feedback to maintain high performance.
Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Scheduling: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the project schedule, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contract requirements.
Safety & Quality: Conduct safety pre-construction meetings, implement site-specific safety plans, and perform regular safety inspections. Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and project benchmarks.
Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality expectations, and ethical standards.
Problem Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve on-site issues, coordinating with the Project Manager and General Superintendent to find cost-effective solutions.
Project Closeout: Oversee subcontractor closeout processes, manage punch lists, and ensure a smooth transition to the client.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a strong track record in managing construction projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
Knowledge of quality and safety standards.
Ability to build effective working relationships with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly job site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
