Apply now »Date: May 11, 2026Location: Knightdale, NC, US, 27545Company: Hubbell IncorporatedJob OverviewThe PCX Electrical Integrator 1 Team Lead is responsible for directing and supporting the daily activities of team members involved in cutting, building, and installing wireways such as cable and basket tray in a clean, safe and concise mannerThis role provides hands‑on leadership on the production floor—setting priorities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supporting the team in achieving manufacturing goals.Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead assigns tasks, supports workflow, resolves assembly issues, and ensures that all work meets engineering, customer, and quality specifications.This position requires advanced proficiency in the integration of wireways such as cable and basket tray assemblies, strong attention to detail, and the ability to mentor and guide teammates effectively.A Day In The LifeIn This Role, Your Typical Day May IncludeAssigning work priorities, distributing tasks, and coordinating manpower to meet production schedulesWorking alongside assemblers to model proper measuring, cutting, threading, bending, and assembling wireways such as cable tray and basket trayInstalling tray systems and securing them according to engineering drawings and instructions techniquesEnsuring team members follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and equipment proceduresVerifying that all completed work conforms to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standardsIdentifying production issues, discrepancies, or nonconforming components and taking corrective actionSupporting troubleshooting efforts and participating in cross‑functional problem‑solving teamsEnsuring proper training and cross‑training of team members, maintaining accurate training recordsMonitoring workflow efficiency and reporting manpower or equipment needs to the SupervisorEnsuring adherence to the company’s Quality Management System and ISO 9001 standardsCollaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Inventory to resolve build documentation issues or material shortagesMaintaining safe, organized, and clean work areas in compliance with housekeeping and 5S expectationsReporting material usage, supporting accurate inventory control, and coordinating with warehouse personnelAssisting the Supervisor with scheduling, staffing decisions, and performance feedbackEnsuring that all workstations operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtimeWhat will help you thrive in this role?Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team membersHigh attention to detail with a commitment to consistent, high‑quality workmanshipExcellent communication skills—both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationshipsStrong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive corrective actionsReliability, integrity, and a professional approach to daily tasks and team leadershipRequired SkillsWorking with large gauge wire (250, 350, 500, 600 KCMIL) as neededReading and following posted bulletins, work instructions, regulations, and manufacturer manualsOperating hand tools, power tools, and ladders or lifts (with required safety harnesses)Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assembly issuesFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement techniquesExperience supporting or directing small teams in a manufacturing environmentAbility to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipmentCompleting required documentation such as timesheets and material‑usage formsReporting issues or discrepancies to supervisors and offering improvement suggestionsWorking cooperatively with team members to meet daily production targetsPhysical RequirementsAbility to work 10‑hour shifts and weekends as requiredAbility to lift, move, and position components as needed (up to job‑specific limits)Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasksAbility to complete training requirementsHubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
