This role focuses on developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods used for characterization and release testing of viral and non-viral therapeutics supporting clinical-stage gene therapy programs.This position operates within a cGMP environment and requires strong technical expertise in molecular biology assays, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced research and development setting.Develop, validate, and transfer molecular biology assays supporting gene therapy developmentPerform PCR-based analytical testing including qPCR and dPCR/ddPCR methodologiesSupport characterization and release testing for viral and non-viral therapeuticsMaintain accurate research documentation, audit trails, and cGMP-compliant recordsCollaborate with cross-functional teams within analytical development and bioanalyticsSupport assay optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvementParticipate in method development activities for next-generation sequencing (NGS) applicationsBachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or related scientific field with 4–6 years of industry experienceORMaster's degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or related scientific field with 2+ years of industry experienceHands-on assay development experienceStrong experience with qPCR and dPCR/ddPCR techniquesExperience working within a cGMP-regulated environmentKnowledge of research documentation practices and audit trail complianceExperience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) development preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCell culture experienceBioassay development or analytical testing experienceExperience supporting analytical development for gene therapy or biologics programsPay Details: $55.86 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
