Title: Scientist I – Cell Line Development (CLD) Location: Framingham, MA (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Contract Shift: 1st Shift Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Scientist I to join the Cell Line Development (CLD) team within Biopharmaceutics R&D. This role will focus on supporting innovative process development and optimization for recombinant CHO cell line platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, and flow cytometry practices.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform molecular biology activities including: Molecular/vector cloning Plasmid and vector construction DNA gel electrophoresis Plasmid preparations Conduct mammalian/CHO cell culture activities including: Stable transfections Pool and clone generation Support flow cytometry (FACS) experiments and analysis Maintain accurate documentation and follow good documentation practices (GDP) Analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot experimental data Manage assigned laboratory tasks and collaborate with team members and supervisors as needed Contribute to optimization and streamlining of Cell Line Development methodologies Required Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience with molecular biology techniques: Molecular/vector cloning DNA gel electrophoresis Plasmid preparation Experience working with mammalian/CHO cell culture systems Preferred SkillsExperience with flow cytometry (FACS) techniques Education RequirementsBS degree in a Scientific discipline with 1–3 years of relevant experience OR MS degree in a Scientific discipline with 0–2 years of relevant experience
