Commercial Solar Project Manager

Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong client relationshipsCoordinate with preconstruction teams to ensure permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are metManage subcontracting, procurement, and major equipment purchasesDevelop and maintain project schedules, balancing progress, resources, and client expectationsLead site mobilization, logistics, and cost control for labor and subcontractorsOversee field teams and ensure consistent project progressTrack financials, forecast costs, and manage change ordersEnsure compliance with state and federal incentives throughout the project lifecycleSupport testing, commissioning, and project closeout documentationCapture lessons learned and drive continuous improvementRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)2–5 years of electrical construction project management experience1–2 years in renewable energy (solar, storage, or microgrid preferred)Knowledge of commercial solar PV and utility interactionsProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management toolsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on active job sites in varying conditionsNABCEP certification preferred
