Electrical Control Panel Builder
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to fabricate and assemble control panels according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in using hand tools, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire control panels based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Utilize surface mount technology for the assembly of electronic components.
Perform soldering tasks with precision to ensure reliable connections.
Conduct tests using an Ohmmeter and caliper to verify electrical connections and measurements.
Fabricate components as needed to meet project requirements.
Ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards for quality assurance in assembly processes.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring issues as they arise during assembly or testing phases.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems.
Proficiency in soldering techniques and the use of hand tools.
Familiarity with surface mount technology is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with testing equipment such as Ohmmeters and calipers is essential.
Knowledge of IPC 610 standards is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
