Job Requisition ID #26WD97950Job Description: Software EngineerOverviewWe are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software systems. This role focuses on hands-on coding, execution of well-defined tasks, and delivering high-quality software across backend, frontend, and CDN/system components, while effectively leveraging modern development tools including AI-assisted coding.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable codeImplement features and enhancements across backend and frontend systemsContribute to CDN-related configuration, integration, and troubleshooting to support content delivery and system performanceDebug issues across backend, frontend, and CDN layers using logs, data, and monitoring toolsParticipate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutionsFollow engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, and version controlUse AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving efficiencyProvide clear updates on progress, risks, and blockersBuild working knowledge of system architecture, data flows, and CDN behaviorRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of software development experienceProficiency in at least one programming language - Java and JavaScriptExperience with full stack developmentFamiliarity with APIs, databases, and basic system design conceptsExposure to CDN concepts (caching, delivery, invalidation, logging)Strong debugging and problem-solving skillsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,000 and $175,450. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
