Control Valve Technician IIPay Range: $25/hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Control Valve Technician II to support inspection, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of control valves and related equipment. This role builds upon the responsibilities of a Control Valve Technician I and requires increased technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting manufacturer, customer, and industry standards.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform all job responsibilities of a Control Valve Technician ILocate, interpret, and apply manufacturer installation, operation, and maintenance manualsInspect valves and related equipment to identify required corrective actions within authorized scopePerform Positive Material Identification (PMI)Assemble, test, and troubleshoot new valves and equipment in accordance with applicable codes, standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer requirementsInstall instrumentation and valve accessories as requiredOperate diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to Valscope, profiler, and related toolsCalibrate measurement and test equipment in accordance with internal quality proceduresMeasure, verify, and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specificationsAccurately document inspection results, test data, and calibration recordsQualifications & SkillsPrior experience as a Control Valve Technician I or equivalentStrong understanding of control valve assemblies, components, and instrumentationAbility to read technical drawings, manuals, and specificationsExperience operating diagnostic and calibration equipmentKnowledge of applicable codes, standards, and quality proceduresStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork EnvironmentShop and/or field-based work environmentUse of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and diagnostic devicesMay require standing, lifting, and working with mechanical componentsCompensation$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications
