Crossroads Program is looking for a Receptionist/Program Assistant. The Receptionist/Program Assistant (Program Assistant II) provides support services for a variety of program and Agency activities. The primary responsibility is to provide a professional, customer service-oriented approach to managing reception and other front desk tasks. Additionally, s/he assists the Program Directors and the Agency's Treatment Home network through organization, follow-up, documentation, communication, and related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:
Direct Duties:
Provide front desk coverage for the administrative office, including greeting guests, answering the phone, and managing faxes (responding to a variety of needs in a timely, friendly, and helpful manner)
Assist youth who have come in for therapy sessions
Perform general clerical duties, such as, copying, typing, proofreading
mailing, and filing for administrative and program personnel
Assist with organizing meetings and trainings
Miscellaneous clerical and support functions
Other duties and responsibilities as identified
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience providing support services for management or working with the public, using a customer service approach.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Excellent communication skills, including command of written, oral and' business English
Ability to relate well to the general public and with sensitivity to our youth
Expertise in the full array of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Excel
Attention to detail and proofreading skills
Knowledge of standard office procedures, practices, and equipment
Quality focused approach to all work
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to work with minimum supervision and to prioritize tasks and assignments
NETWORK FUNCTIONS:
Maintain and abides by OSHA requirements and guidelines
Observes all Fire and Safety Policies and Procedures
Observes all Personnel Policies and Procedures
Observes all Agency's Policies and Procedures
Observes all HIPAA Policies and Procedures and maintains confidentiality
Completes and returns all paperwork distributed by the Human Resource Department
Attends all required and scheduled trainings and meetings
Always maintain a professional demeanor and exercise good professional judgment in all areas of employment duties
Documents time worked accurately
EQUIPMENT/MACHINES:
Current driver's license, vehicle registration and vehicle insurance
Vehicle / wheelchair lifts
Adaptive Equipment
Business use of company equipment to include telephone, cellular telephone, and home appliances and furnishing
Computer systems (current HRIS, SETWORKS, Microsoft Office programs)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an eight-hour day.
Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Able to sit approximately 2-3 hours per shift
Stand or work 6-8 hours per shift.
Drive a company van 1-4 hours per shift.
Has visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate and treat a client needs.
Fine motor skills and legible and accurate writing of reports, daily correspondence
Ability to work up to 8 hours/daily.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is based at various locations in New Jersey. Incumbent must be willing to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.
