Welder / Frabicator

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. In this position, you will weld and fabricate on various construction equipment and assets that correlate with our heavy civil and underground utility construction company. This is an integral part of our construction business. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder.Duties include but are not limited to:Conduct welding operations in accordance with specifications and industry standards, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.Select and set up welding equipmentUse manual and semi-automatic welding equipmentOperate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power toolsAttention to detailComplete daily maintenance and repair logs and all service records.Maintain and secure welding equipment and work tools.Clean and maintain work area and clean equipment after repair removing grease, fluid spills, and smudges.Tun off and lock out equipment when not in use and install tags.Working in shop as well as onsite.Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employeesWork in accordance with the Company Safety Program and bring to the attention of the foreman any safety violations or concerns.
