Power Equipment Technician

Job Summary: Participate in power equipment small engine service activities, programs, and projects; strive to produce quality repair with minimal delay; communicate project status.The Power Equipment Technician will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer agricultural, turf, and construction equipment. Responsible for other miscellaneous duties to ensure customer and dealer equipment is in good working order.Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.Participate in Service Training programs required.Maintain current knowledge of McFarlane vendor equipment and products.Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.Account for all time and for all material used in performing assigned duties.Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment, preferred.Proficient communication skills, verbal and written, with strong customer service skills.Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Co. team are eligible to receive competitive benefits, including group health insurance with health savings account, dental, vision, paid life and disability insurances, training opportunities, 401k with match, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Retail Service Center discount, company events, EAP and more!
