This role will focus on developing data-driven applications, building backend services, and supporting scalable systems that enable critical business and data initiatives.The ideal candidate will have strong Python and SQL skills, experience with backend development and microservices, and exposure to cloud technologies, preferably Azure.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain data-driven applications and enhancements for business systems.Write efficient, scalable SQL queries to support data processing, transformation, and analytics.Build and enhance backend services using Python.Contribute to the design and development of microservices-based architectures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and new functionality.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and platforms.Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and performance across systems and workflows.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.Follow software engineering best practices to develop reliable and maintainable solutions.Required QualificationsStrong proficiency in Python for backend or data-focused development.Strong experience with SQL, including querying, data transformation, and optimization.Experience or exposure to microservices architecture and service-based application design.Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.Solid understanding of software engineering principles and development best practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience developing data-intensive or business-critical applications.Experience working within healthcare or other highly regulated environments.Familiarity with modern cloud-based application development and distributed systems.Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, or other modern software development practices.Work AuthorizationThis opportunity is open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders.
