Our open source version has 4 million downloads to-date.Our software massively impacts AI work across almost every vertical: from self-driving cars to medical imaging to revolutionizing agriculture , we are at the thrilling center of real-world AI advancement's next wave.And we're built on three key tenets:We are all human beings : we strive to be a "human-first" organization and treat everyone with the respect, care, and flexibility that all people deserve.We are distributed : we believe in getting autonomy and power into the hands of people actually doing the work.We believe in the power of community.We are fully remote, hiring for people based in North America (with a preference for candidates on the West Coast for this role) who are prepared to travel to at least 2 in-person retreats per year, plus travel to various conferences and Meetups.As a Machine Learning Developer Relations Engineer at Voxel51, you'll work directly with the open source FiftyOne community answering technical questions, coding integrations with complementary models and datasets, creating engaging content, plus helping organize and speak at events (in-person and virtual).What you will doWriting: Author original documentation, tutorials, guides, technical articles, and blogsIntegrations: Code up integrations that combine FiftyOne with complementary ML technologies, models, and datasetsVideos: Self-produce short videos to supplement the written contentTechnical Support: Provide technical answers to open source users on Discord, Stackoverflow, and RedditEducational Content: Create and deliver original courses, both online and in-personWhat you should bring2+ years of professional ML experience with an emphasis on computer vision uses casesMS or PhD in computer science with an emphasis on computer visionProficiency with PythonExpertise with machine learning and scientific computing libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy)Great writing ability and proficiency with a screening recording/editing suiteLinks to blogs, articles and papers writtenLinks to conferences or events you have spoken atLinks to open source communities where you are an active participantLinks to GitHub repos where your code is visibleAbility to work in a remote-first, cooperative environment using collaborative development tools (GitHub, Slack)The cash compensation for this person is in the $200K-$240K range.
