Responsibilities include assisting students in identifying suitable colleges and universities, guiding them through the application and essay-writing processes, and providing expert advice on scholarships, financial aid, and test preparation strategies. The role also involves conducting workshops, liaising with educational institutions, and staying current on admission trends and requirements to ensure students make informed decisions about their academic futures. Qualifications Experience in College Counseling, Academic Advising, or Career GuidanceStrong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Research, Organization, and Critical Thinking abilitiesKnowledge of college admissions processes, including applications, essays, and test preparationPassion for helping students achieve their educational goalsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing needsExperience in working with diverse populations and promoting an inclusive environmentBachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Familiarity with educational tools, software, and database systems is a plus
