Service Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.Objective: Provide services to customers in a safe, cost effective, timely, and professional manner.Schedule: TBN by manager. This position requires extensive out-of-town travel. Must be able to work nights, early, stay late and/or work on weekends as neededResponsibilitiesRepair, replace, and install 12v and 110v fuel pumpsRepair, replace, and install air operated and pneumatic pumpsService other pump related equipment (meters, nozzles, hoses, etc.)Repair, replace, and install tank monitoring systemRepair, replace, and install Fuel Management SystemRepair, replace, and install tank piping, stingers, fill lines and vent systemsResponds to and manages customer inquiriesConducts physical inventory countsStocks inventoryWork productively without constant supervisionPick up / Delivery / Relocate spill bermsTrouble shooting electrical issuesService on Gasboy equipmentEnsure quality, delivery, and timeliness of orders are metOther related tasks and projects as assigned by managerBasic RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent21 years of age or olderReside withing reasonable commuting distanceFamiliar with oil field lease roads that surround the areaValid driver’s license and a good driving recordExperience working with industrial pumps, meters, and motorsAbility to interact with and develop good working relationships with technical and administrative staffProficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel programsStrong attention to detail, self-motivated, and proactive with time managementStable past employment historyGood attendance recordHonesty and a good work ethicAbility to get along with others and work well in a team environmentAbility to work nights, weekends and travel out of townAbility to be flexible for schedule changes if neededAbility to lift 50-75 poundsAbility to climb on top of the tanks up to 40ft.Courteous and friendly nature when dealing with customersExperience communicating with customers on job related activitiesAbility to complete paperwork effectively, efficiently and accuratelyMust be able to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical examMust be able to pass a driving test hauling a utility trailerPreferredExperience working with fuel equipmentService experience in the trucking industryAbility to operate an IpadElectrical backgroundExperience with piping installationExperience with Gasboy DispenserExperience with Tecalemit FMSRoustabout experienceBilingualAt RelaDyne, you’ll find more than just a job-you’ll discover a career with a company that values people, teamwork, and growth.
