You take initiative without being asked and want ownership of the firm's trajectory, not just your deliverables.ResponsibilitiesClient DeliveryDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications supporting DoD agency operationsBuild and support solutions using SharePoint, Power Platform, and automation tools to streamline agency workflowsCollaborate with DevSecOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure, repeatable deploymentsEnsure applications meet federal cybersecurity and system authorization requirements, including RMF and NIST complianceTroubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely support to end users and stakeholdersParticipate in system upgrades, enhancements, and modernization efforts across the agency's application portfolioFirm DevelopmentLead or contribute to business development, internal tool-building, mentorship, or publication to strengthen Peregrine's software engineering capabilities and market positionCore Technologies3–7+ years of software development experience with modern development frameworks and toolsExperience with SharePoint, Power Platform, or enterprise automation toolsFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development and supportKnowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, or secure coding practicesDomain Expertise & Professional SkillsExperience in federal or DoD environments preferred; understanding of federal cybersecurity and system authorization requirementsExcellent written and oral communication skills; proven collaborator across diverse teams in dynamic government environmentsPrior consulting or client-services experience preferredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience3+ years of software development experience, preferably in a federal or DoD contextDemonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentU.S. citizenship requiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance, active Secret security clearance or above preferredPeregrine offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:Full health coverage (medical, dental, and vision) with 100% of employee premiums coveredLife and disability insurance, fully covered by the company401(k) retirement plan with 100% match on contributions up to 4% of salary with immediate vestingUnlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) to encourage work-life balance
