WINDOWS/INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERLocation: Dallas, TXJob Type: Permanent / Full-Time / Direct-Hire / HybridCompensation: Up to $130K, DOE, plus an excellent full benefits packageOverviewOur mid-West Dallas area client company is searching for a WINDOWS/INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER to: create/maintain documentation/procedures for Windows Active Directory and Windows Server engineering/administration; design/evaluate solutions to enhance/improve complex Active Directory domains and forests, Windows Servers, and related infrastructure across the organization; and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design/implement highly complex Windows Server infrastructure projects that fulfill business needs across the organization.The successful candidate must further be able to successfully: perform routine systems conformance and capacity validation and routine system maintenance to ensure that Windows Servers are up to date, secure, and in compliance with industry standards; work closely with cloud engineers and development teams on issue resolution and process improvement; and provide operational support including server monitoring, patching, and other duties.Required Experience / EnvironmentYou MUST have 5+ years of hands-on Windows Server Administration/Engineering experience at a high level across multiple systems and have expertise in managing/administering:MS Active Directory and related services/infrastructure (Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Sites, etc.)Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and related productivity applicationsAWS and Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructureMicrosoft Azure and Microsoft 365Additional Technical ExpertiseYou MUST further have expertise in:managing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise backup and recovery systems (N2WS, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Backup Exec and similar backup software)PowerShell and related scripting (Python, JSON/YAML)networking, common protocols, mail routing and different mail authentication/protocolssupporting web-based applications hosted in Microsoft IIS/ApacheCertificationsCandidates MUST have Microsoft Certifications (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022); additional AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, and/or SysOps Associate certifications are strongly preferred.Work AuthorizationCandidates must be able to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship or visa transfer, whether now or at any time in the future.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred, although not required.Additional RequirementNO C2C OR CONTRACT APPLICANTSThis is a permanent/full time direct-hire hybrid role with a salary up to $130K, DOE, plus an excellent full benefits package.
