Job Description APMAssistant Project Manager - Mission CriticalPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Mission Critical projects to support delivery of high-availability infrastructure including data centers, semiconductor fabs, and industrial facilities. The Assistant PM will work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and internal teams to coordinate construction activities, track schedule and budget, manage RFIs and submittals, and ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards. This role requires hands-on construction experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ground-up construction and mission critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project planning and execution for mission critical builds including data centers, semiconductor facilities, and industrial projects.Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and Owners Representatives to drive schedule, quality, and safety.Assist in development and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and construction sequencing for ground-up construction.Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation to ensure timely resolution and project transparency.Monitor project costs, assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and facilitate cost control measures in conjunction with Project Managers and Owners Firm stakeholders.Perform site visits and inspections to verify work progress, quality, and adherence to mission critical standards and owner requirements.Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring systems meet performance criteria and documentation is complete.Maintain strong safety and quality oversight, ensuring compliance with company policies, contract documents, and regulatory requirements.Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders, prepare regular progress reports, and support meetings with Owners Firms and clients.QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.3+ years of construction or project coordination experience, preferably in mission critical environments such as data centers, semiconductor fabs, or industrial facilities.Experience with ground-up construction, working alongside General Contractors (GC) and Owners Representatives or Owners Firms.Working knowledge of mission critical systems (power distribution, UPS, cooling, controls) and industry standards for data centers or semiconductor sites.Solid understanding of construction documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and cost tracking.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively between contractors, designers, and owner representatives.Proven ability to conduct site inspections, enforce safety and quality standards, and identify constructability issues.Proficiency with construction management tools and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and common office software.Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, LEED AP) or willingness to pursue professional certification is a plus.- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
