We are currently seeking a Head of Talent Enablement CoE for Apps and Data to join our team in the US.
Role Overview
The Head of Talent Enablement Center of Excellence (CoE) - Applications & Data will define and drive the strategy, execution, and growth of NTT DATA's staffing and talent solutions business across both application services and data & analytics domains.
This role is responsible for building a future-ready talent ecosystem that supports application development, modernization, and data-driven transformation initiatives, including data engineering, AI/ML, and advanced analytics. The leader will ensure scalable, high-quality talent supply aligned with evolving client demands across application services and data & analytics domains.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Define and execute a unified Talent CoE strategy across Applications and Data & Analytics
Drive revenue growth of staffing and talent solutions in both domains across key markets
Identify emerging skills and workforce trends (e.g., cloud-native apps, data engineering, AI/ML, GenAI, analytics platforms)
Develop differentiated go-to-market strategies for integrated application and data talent offerings
Talent Supply Chain & Capability Building
Work with Talent Acquisition, partners and with internal talent to build robust talent pipelines across:
Application development, maintenance and modernization (full-stack, microservices, ERP, low-code/no-code, niche technologies)
Data & analytics (data engineering, data migration and modernization, data platforms, data visualization)
Lead enterprise-wide upskilling and reskilling programs across applications and data domains
Establish capability academies for niche and high-demand skills
Leverage global talent pools, gig workforce, and partner ecosystems
Operational Excellence
Standardize and scale talent fulfillment processes across both service lines working with cross-functional teams
Improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency of staffing delivery
Implement data-driven workforce planning and predictive talent supply models
Establish governance frameworks ensuring compliance and quality across regions
Stakeholder Management
Partner with sales, delivery, and practice leaders across Applications and Data & Analytics
Collaborate with clients to co-create workforce strategies supporting digital and data transformation
Engage with hyperscalers, data platform providers, and training partners
Innovation & Digital Enablement
Drive adoption of AI-led sourcing, talent intelligence platforms, and internal talent marketplaces
Build innovative staffing models (e.g., pod-based delivery, managed teams, outcome-based staffing)
Embed analytics into talent decision-making (supply-demand forecasting, skill gap analysis)
Continuously benchmark and evolve CoE capabilities
Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead a globally distributed CoE team covering applications and data talent
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and agility
Develop leadership pipelines and domain-specific expertise within the CoE
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in both:
IT Applications (custom development, enterprise platforms, cloud-native architectures)
Data & Analytics (data engineering, data platforms, AI ecosystems)
Proven experience in IT staffing, workforce strategy, or talent transformation
Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
Data-driven decision-making and analytics orientation
Deep understanding of digital, cloud, and data ecosystems
Strong stakeholder management across global, matrixed organizations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or related field
MBA or equivalent preferred
15+ years of experience in IT services, staffing, or talent strategy
Demonstrated experience in building talent capabilities in Applications and/or Data & Analytics domains
Experience in global delivery and multi-geo talent management
Success Metrics
Revenue growth across Applications and Data & Analytics staffing
Talent fulfillment speed, quality, and cost efficiency
Coverage of critical skills (applications + data/AI domains)
Talent readiness and certification benchmarks
Utilization and deployment rates
Client satisfaction and retention
Innovation adoption (AI-led sourcing, talent analytics maturity)
