Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Creative Strategy & Performance Content leads the development, execution, and optimization of performance-driven creative systems across paid, owned, and emerging channels. This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, audience insights, content operations, and performance marketing, translating business objectives into scalable, high-performing creative.
This individual will own creative strategy for customer acquisition and retention, including audience messaging, performance content frameworks, UGC strategy, testing roadmaps, and platform-native creative development across Meta, Google, TikTok, email, landing pages, and emerging channels.
Reporting to the SVP of Growth & E-commerce, this role partners closely with Growth, Lifecycle, Brand, Analytics, Ecommerce, and external creative partners to build efficient creative pipelines and continuously improve creative effectiveness through testing, iteration, and operational rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Creative Strategy & Audience Development
Lead the development and execution of performance creative strategies across paid, owned, and emerging channels.
Develop audience-first messaging frameworks, hooks, creative angles, and campaign concepts designed to drive measurable acquisition and retention outcomes.
Translate business goals and performance insights into scalable creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, email, landing pages, and emerging channels.
Balance brand storytelling with conversion-focused creative strategy to support both short-term commercial impact and long-term brand equity.
Own performance-focused UGC strategy, including creator briefing, feedback, iteration, and content optimization workflows.
Partner with creators, agencies, and freelancers to scale platform-native content for paid social channels.
Oversee organic TikTok content planning and execution, ensuring content aligns with platform trends, audience behaviours, and performance insights.
Continuously identify new creative formats, trends, and testing opportunities across social and emerging platforms.
Creative Operations & Workflow Management
Build scalable creative intake, prioritisation, production, and testing processes to support increasing creative volume and iteration velocity.
Lead Creative Operations and Project Management workflows to improve production efficiency, asset throughput, campaign execution, and cross-functional alignment.
Establish clear briefing standards, approval processes, and production timelines across internal teams and external partners.
Ensure creative assets are delivered accurately, on time, and optimised for channel-specific performance.
Testing, Optimisation & Performance
Own creative testing frameworks and performance learning loops across paid and owned channels.
Partner with Analytics and Growth teams to translate performance data into actionable creative insights.
Continuously optimise messaging, creative formats, landing page experiences, and content effectiveness based on testing and results.
Develop repeatable systems for creative iteration, performance reporting, and testing prioritisation.
Agency & Partner Management
Manage and coordinate a network of creative agencies, freelancers, editors, and production partners across UGC, design, video, email, and AI-enabled creative production.
Ensure external partners deliver against performance objectives, creative standards, timelines, and brand guidelines.
Maximise agency and vendor capabilities while maintaining operational efficiency and accountability.
Collaborate with external partners supporting UGC, AI creative production, video editing, design, and email asset creation.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Partner closely with Brand, Growth, Lifecycle, Ecommerce, and Product teams to align creative strategy with business priorities.
Present creative strategies, performance insights, testing results, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Serve as a strategic partner across the organization on platform trends, audience insights, and performance creative best practices.
Success Metrics
Creative drives measurable impact across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle performance (CTR, CVR, ROAS, engagement, CAC efficiency).
Scalable creative systems enable faster testing, iteration, and production velocity across channels.
Strong alignment between performance goals, brand strategy, and audience messaging across customer touchpoints.
High-performing UGC and platform-native creative consistently improves paid and organic social performance.
Efficient creative workflows support high-volume asset production and rapid campaign execution.
Continuous improvement in creative effectiveness driven by testing, data insights, and performance learnings.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
6–10 years of experience in performance creative, creative strategy, growth marketing, or content leadership roles.
Strong understanding of paid social creative strategy, audience segmentation, UGC, and platform-native content development.
Hands-on experience building creative testing frameworks and scaling performance creative systems.
Experience managing creative operations, workflows, and cross-functional production processes.
Strong conceptual thinking, messaging strategy, storytelling, and creative direction skills.
Deep familiarity with Meta, TikTok, paid social best practices, and performance marketing principles.
Experience managing agencies, freelancers, creators, and external production partners.
Preferred
Experience in DTC, wellness, CPG, subscription, or regulated categories.
Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented organisations.
Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and AI-assisted creative tools.
Experience collaborating closely with Growth, Lifecycle, Ecommerce, and Analytics teams.
Strong understanding of creative iteration velocity and performance marketing optimisation.
