Behind every placement is our experienced operations team handling compliance, credentialing, and communication so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.**Join Our Team as a Medical Technologist!**\n\n**Job Description:** \n- Embrace the excitement of night shifts with a unique 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule (Wednesday - Tuesday). \n- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate cutting-edge testing procedures and clinical data in the Laboratory Department. \n- Utilize your phlebotomy skills to make a real impact in patient care. \n- Communicate effectively with medical and technical personnel using your excellent verbal and written English skills. \n- Showcase your computer proficiency to streamline communication within the team. \n- Bilingual candidates are highly desired!\n\n**Key Responsibilities:** \n- Integrate current scientific knowledge with technical competency to enhance laboratory operations. \n- Participate in implementing safety and compliance policies, including safety/chemical hygiene plans, infectious/exposure control plans, fire plans, and more. \n- Perform EKGs, phlebotomies, therapeutic phlebotomies, and specimen collections with expertise in age-related techniques. \n- Clarify physician orders and effectively address questions regarding orders, specimens, and results. \n- Maintain high standards for routine, timed, and STAT testing, prioritizing tasks efficiently. \n- Collaborate with fellow technologists by sharing weekend and daily on-call responsibilities. \n- Mentor and train new employees to build a strong team. \n- Ensure a clean and safe working environment while promoting workplace safety. \n- Prepare and monitor quality control charts and instrument maintenance protocols to guarantee accurate results. \n- Demonstrate competency in delivering patient care that optimizes safety and minimizes errors. \n- Exhibit good judgment when responding to requests from colleagues and other medical personnel. \n- Follow proper procedures for malfunctioning laboratory equipment and ensure continuity of care by completing any unfinished procedures. \n- Correlate test results with diagnoses and address any discrepancies appropriately. \n- Maintain a broad knowledge of all laboratory departments and ensure preventive maintenance is documented. \n- Report medical/health care errors accurately and protect patients throughout the resolution process.\n\n**Shift Information:** \n- Night Shift: 7 Nights On, 7 Nights Off \n\n**Minimum Years of Experience:** \n- 2 years \n\n**Certifications/Requirements:** \n- ASCP, NCA, or equivalent registration required. \n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
