Emergency Medicine Physician

Work Dates Needed: Apr - Ongoing Schedule: Days and nights; night coverage preferred Only candidates who are willing to work nights will be considered Avg 4-8 shifts per month 10hrs shifts Altoona 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 1p-11p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a or 9p-7a 12hr shifts Bedford 7a-7p, 7p-7a Worksite Setting: Inpatient Trauma 3 Avg annual volume: 45k Avg vol per 24hrs: 137 70hrs of physician coverage, and 24hrs of APP coverage daily Peds, adult and geriatric Procedures include, but are not limited to, intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, I and D and other procedures that are within the scope of an emergency medicine residency trained physician Providers will work solo Specialty Support: Altoona: Trauma Level 3 Stroke Center ICU CT Surgery Cath Lab Ortho Peds Psych L&D On call OB Bedford: Stoke Center No L&D, or OB call for ED Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active PA license or IMLC w LOQ, ABEM, DEA, minimum of 2 years EM experience required, drive in candidates only EMR: Cerner
