Program Manager

Overview In this role you drive program execution across Strattec's product, process, and strategic initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, profitable programs with high quality. You act as the program ambassador to customers, shape statements of work and business plans, and apply financial insight to improve schedules and metrics. You lead reviews, manage expectations, and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards while supporting growth of the product portfolio. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role focused on delivering impactful solutions in the automotive access space. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive compensation packagecomprehensive health benefitspaid time off401(k) with company matchcompany-paid life insurancewellness program and community involvement ResponsibilitiesManage programs using APQP-based PDP and drive continuous improvement of schedule, profitability, and quality metrics.Act as company ambassador with customers, delivering excellent program delivery services.Facilitate robust program statements of work and associated business plans.Lead cross-functional teams to improve project performance using product knowledge and financial acumen.Achieve the 0-0-100-100-90 launch metric (safety, quality, on-time delivery, financial goals, post-start period).Lead internal and customer communication to ensure all deliverables and expectations are met.Serve as primary program contact for customer management and voice-of-the-customer within Strattec.Coordinate cross-functional information tracking and release through proper management systems.Hold monthly program reviews and gate reviews with leadership, escalating issues promptly.Maintain PM KPIs and support IATF16949:2016 and ISO14001:2015 certifications. Key requirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, engineering, or product/design development.6+ years of automotive or relevant program management/coordination experience.Automotive OEM exposure; Ford and GM experience desirable.Knowledge of APQP-based, gated project management systems.Strong business and financial acumen for profitable product lines.Customer-oriented, collaborative, and accountable work style.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, facilities, and equipment.Regional travel up to 25% during launch.customer orientationcollaborationaccountabilityAPQP-based PDPquality systems (IATF16949:2016, ISO14001:2015)program management processes
