Rec Line 1 Night Shift ICE HOUSE STACKER

Job TitlePosition starts mid April to June Number of openings: 20 Fulltime, Temporary Location: Line 1 - Red Cherries Working Shift: Night Shift Hours: 5:00 pm 2:30 am. May vary depending on production. The basic objective of this position is to segregate and palletize packed boxes of fruit onto pallets in accordance to established specifications, under the direction of the Ice House Lead. Able to lift 30 pounds overhead repetitively over work shift. Ability to communicate well with others. Perform repetitive functions paying attention to detail. Able to work in constant cold temperature (35 degrees) Separate and stack packed boxes Set up and prepare pallets to stack packed boxes on Maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards. Standing/walking, crouching, stooping, twisting, balancing, leg/foot use, reaching, overhead extension, handling, pushing/pulling (30 lbs.), lifting/carrying (30 lbs.) Speaking, hearing, sight (far, near, color) Work area is inside in 35 degree cold temperature rooms. Area is well ventilated with low noise, well lit with low dust. Hazards encountered include lifting packed boxes, roller belt (chain), cold temperature, forklift traffic.
